Eliza is a passionate and experienced women’s health physiotherapist with over a decade of practice in pelvic health. She graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2014 as part of the first cohort of physiotherapists in Australia to receive undergraduate women’s health physiotherapy training. Eliza is an APA Titled Women’s Men’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and a proud member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists.
Eliza is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed advanced training in chronic pelvic pain, prolapse and urinary incontinence, complex bladder issues, pessary fitting, bowel dysfunction, antenatal and postnatal care, and men’s pelvic health. She is also a Connect Therapy Series graduate, adopting a whole-body approach to assess and treat patients. By interweaving her pelvic health and musculoskeletal expertise, Eliza achieves outstanding results for her patients.
Beyond clinical practice, Eliza is an educator and mentor. She tutors for the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Women’s and Men’s Pelvic Health course and mentors physiotherapists entering the field. Eliza has presented at conferences and workshops on topics such as birth preparation, the female athlete, and endometriosis. She also developed the real-time transperineal ultrasound course offered through The Pelvic Health Community, a skill she integrates into her daily practice.
In her “down time”, Eliza is a busy wrangling her two young boys at the beach or park. She loves watching them grow and can’t wait until they are old enough to strap on some water skis or snow skis – the more outdoor adventures the better!
