Sara is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecological surgeon who has been trained by the best in some of Sydney’s most renowned women’s health units.  She really enjoyed her core specialist training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and was awarded the medal for nationally topping the fellowship exam.  Sara then developed further expertise in high-risk obstetrics and pelvic floor gynaecological surgery at the Royal Hospital for Women, then completed additional training in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital. Sara was invited to join the faculty at the Royal Hospital for Women and the St Vincent’s Hospital, where she now works as a consultant looking after public and private patients.

Sara’s professional reputation is reflected in her leadership within the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, where she was Chair of the Trainee’s Committee and now continues to be involved in the training and assessment of the next generation of O&G specialists.  Passionate about teaching, Sara also holds a Conjoint appointment with the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

Sara focuses on holistic, tailored care that respects each woman’s values and choices.  Known for her warm and collaborative approach, she partners with women to ensure they feel informed and supported throughout their pregnancy.  She feels incredibly privileged to be part of this extraordinary journey every day!  Sara unwinds spending time with her family, or with a good book and a cup of tea (when she gets to finish it).
